Ashley Smith is the Behavioral Health Clinician at Springboard Community Services. Ashley is a social worker with over twenty years of educational, administrative, and human behavior experience. She provides comprehensive support for those facing diverse challenges and is committed to promoting resilience and advocating for their needs.Â
Request an AppointmentMissy Cougnet is an LCPC at Springboard Community Services and has been a therapist there for nearly 4 years. She has a background in substance abuse counseling and now specializes in treating children with problematic sexual behavior and individuals needing to process trauma. In addition to seeing clients at SCS, Missy works part time as the therapist on staff at the CCAIC. Missy is committed to her role in providing individual behavioral health services to those who are in need.

With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Haley creates a safe, respectful, and affirming space where clients feel truly seen and heard. She works alongside each person to address past wounds and foster a more grounded, empowered present self. Haley is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and thoughtfully integrates a range of therapeutic modalities to meet each client's individual needs.
Request an AppointmentDeanna Ferrell, MSW, LCSW-C has been providing behavioral/mental health services for over 35 years and has over 15 years of experience with Springboard Community Services specializing in trauma treatment. Deanna has worked in a variety of settings serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience in helping individuals and families cope with mood disorders, grief and loss, attention deficit disorders, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, and behavioral challenges in addition to helping clients manage trauma responses. Â Deanna uses a person centered approach, encouraging and supporting clients in identifying their strengths and developing strategies for using these strengths to achieve their goals.

She believes in the power of hope, healing, and resilience—and in creating a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. Whether you're beginning your healing journey or continuing it, she is here to walk alongside you with empathy and care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with minors in Social Work and Gender & Women’s Studies from Hood College, and a Master of Social Work from Salisbury University. For nearly a decade, Emily has had the privilege of working alongside survivors of domestic violence, as well as individuals navigating the impacts of sexual assault, trauma, and complexities of life. She has a strong passion for supporting women and LGBTQIA+ individuals, and brings a deep respect for each person’s unique story and journey. Grounded in trauma-informed and compassionate care, she support individuals in cultivating hope, self-worth, and resilience at every step of their journey.

Rosie has over a decade of experience working in community health and wellness, and has worked as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She brings a person centered approach, and a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens to her work. Rosie’s therapeutic style draws on her training in modalities such as EMDR, IFS, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. She is glad to be joining Springboard Community Services for its collaborative team model, and its mission to serve children and families in the community. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, live music, and spending time with her dogs.
Request an AppointmentJessica Sautter is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Jessica is also Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and an EMDR trained therapist. Jessica received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Arizona in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Counseling, with an emphasis on Community Counseling, from the University of Phoenix. With more than 12 years of counseling experience, Jessica has acquired extensive knowledge in assisting children, adolescents, and adults with issues related to anxiety, mood, and trauma-related disorders. She also has extensive experience working with older and disabled adults, including those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

With five years of experience working across various settings, Katrina has supported children, adolescents, and adults in achieving their personal goals. She utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach to create tailored interventions that promote growth and empowerment. Outside of her professional life, Katrina enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
Request an AppointmentJessica Rehrey is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and has been in the field of mental health counseling since 2010. Jessica received her CAC-AD in addiction counseling and became fully licensed as a licensed professional counselor in August 2016. Jessica has worked in different settings including hospital, outpatient mental health, and inpatient recovery centers. Jessica uses various therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and person centered in her practice. She works with a wide range of individuals with her specialty being assisting teenagers in general and people who have dual diagnosis with mental health and substance addiction.

With a background in community health work (CHW) and applied behavior analysis (ABA), Amanda has developed a strong foundation in treatment approaches that meet individuals where they are. Specializing in trauma work, she utilizes training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help individuals overcome a range of challenges. Certifications in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), along with specialized training in CBT and support for substance-impacted individuals, enable her to address each person’s unique needs while upholding core values of integrity and empathy.

She earned her education at Bowie State and Towson Universities and has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation. Outside of her work, Cassandra enjoys traveling, is a selective eater, has a fondness for stingrays, and is currently learning how to draw. She is committed to helping clients find balance and resilience in their lives.
Request an AppointmentBethany Ellis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC)  with a MA from Valparaiso University. She has 10+ years of experience in the mental health treatment world, including outpatient therapy, community based therapy and care coordination, and crisis support. Bethany has experience treating mental health disorders such a mood, anxiety, and trauma related disorders, as well as co-occurring disorders from a trauma-informed perspective.  While in previous jobs, Bethany has continued training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (as well as core competency-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (for PTSD). Bethany adopts a collaborative approach in individual therapy, focusing on the individual’s own values and goals.

Before joining our clinical team, Jocelyn worked as a Family Violence Case Manager at Springboard Community Services, where she supported survivors of intimate partner violence. This experience further honed her ability to create a safe, compassionate space for clients dealing with trauma. Jocelyn takes a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating mindfulness, art, play, and other therapeutic modalities to foster healing and self-discovery.
