Springboard Community Services (SCS) is a CARF-Accredited Outpatient Mental Health Clinic with offices in Baltimore City, Carroll, Harford and Howard County. We are looking to expand our services with the provision of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) serving both minors and adults. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Program Officer, the PRP Director & Rehabilitation Specialist will provide administrative and program oversight over psychiatric rehabilitation services. This position will include supervision of PRP program staff, ongoing collaboration with the directors in respective Springboard locations as well as working with clinical staff, case managers, supervisors, and community-based resources. The PRP Director & Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for assessing the needs and barriers across offices, establishing equitable access to services for consumers, and removing barriers to ensure streamlined services across mental health programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Psychiatric Rehabilitation program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Applicants must be licensed as an LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LGPAT, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT, or LCPAT in the state of Maryland, or CPRP and CFRP certified by the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. Knowledge of COMAR and CARF regulations with 2 years’ experience in psychiatric rehabilitation programs or 5 years’ in mental health related services.

Springboard Community Services (SCS) is a CARF Accredited Outpatient Mental Health Clinic with offices in Baltimore City, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties. We are looking to expand our services with the provision of a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs serving both minors and adults. Under the direct supervision of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Director, the PRP Direct Care Counselors will serve as an integral member of our team by providing goal oriented individualized rehabilitative services that enable clients to develop skills that enhance the quality of their lives. Rehabilitative services are developed in partnership with the client, their support system including parents/guardians (if applicable) and mental health professionals in key life domains such as self-care skills, social skills, independent living skills, occupational and/or educational goals, spiritual and leisure activities to facilitate community integration.
This position requires High School or GED; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services related field is preferred. Ideal candidate will have at least one year of human services experience, demonstrate excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively, patience, and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development as needed. Under the general direction of the Program Director and the Corporation for National and Community Service policy guidance, the Foster Grandparent Volunteer Coordinator has the responsibility of coordinating project activities including recruitment, in-service training, supervisory arrangements, and other activities such as assisting volunteer station staff to develop volunteer assignment plans and volunteer activities and ensure all volunteers receive monthly stipend for hours served.

Under the direct supervision of the Youth Resource Center Program Manager, the Housing Navigator serves as a key role in the system-wide assessment of homeless persons to match them to the appropriate housing intervention. The Housing Assessor/Navigator will screen clients using an assessment workflow through the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and will accompany clients from the housing referral through the lease-up process. The Housing Assessor/Navigator will also collaborate with system partners. This position will work independently at times and as part of a team at other times. The position is not required to be tied to a fixed office site but may accompany outreach teams as needed to assist persons living on the streets to seek and secure housing.
Applicant must have Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field, Master’s preferred. A minimum of one years’ experience providing crisis services to families and knowledge of dynamics of victims of crime, trauma and family violence. The Safe House Support Staff is responsible for overseeing the house during evening hours and either of the following shifts, Friday and Saturday from 11p to 7a, Saturday and Sunday from 7a to 3p and Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm with the possibility of covering during other shifts and/or holidays

The Youth Resource Center (YRC) case manager will provide direct support and services to individual youth or youth of families with heads of households ranging from 18-24 years old. As the YRC Case Manager, you will provide crisis intervention services that emphasize safety planning, short-term and long term service coordination, and follow-up to youth and young adults in need of supportive services. This position will offer support in connecting clients to vital resources, entitlements and benefits, as well as information about the criminal justice process, educational system and various programs and services in the community. The case manager will provide advocacy as and when necessary while coordinating efforts of the Workforce Development Specialist, Peer Supporter, Navigator, and any other team member of YRC/SCS. The goal will be to manage the immediate crisis and also lay the groundwork for a more in-depth involvement with the Youth Resource Center.
Applicant must have Bachelor’s degree in social science or educational fields with a minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, their families, and/or adults as a resource coordinator, case manager, counselor, therapist, guidance counselor, social worker, or other similar position. Preference will be given to candidates who also have social services licensures and/or have experience in:
- Working with adolescents and young adults with emotional and/or behavioral difficulties;

The Youth Homelessness Diversion Project (YHDP) Case Manager will provide direct care services to youth and young adults ages 14-24. Programming will be geared towards promoting self-advocacy in the attainment of their own, client driven life goals. This will be done using the four tasks of Intentional Peer Support: building connection, helping each other understand how we’ve come to know what we know, redefining help as a co-learning and growing process, and helping each other move toward what is wanted rather than away from what is not wanted. This position is responsible to work off site at a variety of partnering agencies within Baltimore City and assist with the completion of intakes and case management services.
Applicant must have Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services or Master’s Degree in the social science or educational fields and at least one year of work experience. The Youth Resource Center (YRC) Client Services Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operation of the YRC and administrative functions. This includes general front desk coverage through answering the telephone, managing mail, greeting clients and visitors as well as recordkeeping, data entry and filing of confidential records, over-seeing front desk sign-up sheets, managing referrals and updating client information in databases. In addition, the YRC Client Services Assistant will provide back-up support for the Office Administrator/Client Services Assistant on the main level, as needed.
This position requires a High School Diploma with proficiency in use of electronic medical records, computers, printers and fax machine. Ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing. Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with clients, families, staff, management as well as the general public.
