Happy New Year! Tips for a Healthy Start to 2025
The start of a new year can bring excitement and pressure to accomplish goals. This January, let’s focus on self-care and realistic growth:
Set achievable goals: Break big resolutions into small, manageable steps.
Celebrate progress: Give yourself credit for small wins. Growth takes time.
Prioritize self-care: Take moments to recharge—whether through rest, connection, or activities that bring you joy.
Here’s to a healthier, happier 2025! We’re cheering you on every step of the way.

A special thank you to Jenny Hovermill for leading the Youth Resource Center Holiday Initiative, which ensured the young people we serve who have obtained stable housing received essential home items. We received dozens of large boxes filled with cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other critical items. Thank you, Jenny, for helping to ensure our young people felt supported this season.
Foster Grandparents Annual Recognition and Holiday Celebration
What an amazing evening we had at the Foster Grandparents Annual Recognition and Holiday Celebration in December! Our Foster Grandparents (FGP) looked stunning as they gathered to celebrate their incredible contributions.
The evening featured heartfelt moments of reflection, with our Veteran Foster Grandparents sharing inspiring words, singing, and even dancing along with the outstanding live band that brought the house down!
A special thank you goes out to Dr. Greene-Joyner and Sherrea Fleet for their unwavering support in making this event a success. Your dedication and leadership added so much to this memorable celebration.
Here’s to our Foster Grandparents for their hard work and to another year of making a difference in the lives of our young people.
