Springboard Community Services is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and collaborative Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its integrated behavioral health team. The counseling program includes psychiatrists, licensed counselors, and social workers who provide comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including trauma, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and other psychiatric conditions.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and ongoing treatment while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. This position promotes clinical excellence, supports positive treatment outcomes, and contributes to a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
This position requires Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program, and completion of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program. A minimum of two (2) years of psychiatric practice experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting, experience working with children, adolescents, and adults impacted by trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Applicant must have the following Licensure and Certification:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN)
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensure in Maryland
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Current DEA registration and CDS registration (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Current CPR certification preferred.
