Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team full time. In this role you will provide individual, family, and group therapy in both office and telehealth settings. SCS provides operational infrastructure—billing, scheduling, referrals, and administrative support—so clinicians can focus on clinical care, professional development, and maintaining work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Conduct initial psychosocial assessments and develop individualized service/treatment plans.
  • Maintain a weekly average of approximately 25 billable events.
  • Document therapeutic services, client/collateral contacts, and service delivery in the EHR according to agency, CARF, and HIPAA standards.
  • Coordinate care with internal and external partners.
  • Participate in peer consultation, supervision (as needed), and team meetings.
  • Complete required training and continuing education provided by SCS.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Current Maryland licensure: LCPC / LCSW-C / LCMFT (or LGPC / LMSW / LGMFT as appropriate).
  • Experience providing evidence-based therapy to diverse populations.
  • Strong clinical documentation, time management, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working within an EHR and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
