Offering Support for Family Violence

Designed to support individuals impacted by trauma, the Family Violence Project program provides services such as crisis intervention, case management, court accompaniment, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, and referrals for counseling. Our experienced team assists survivors of family violence, child abuse, elder abuse, gang violence, hate crimes, sexual assault, military trauma, human trafficking, and gun violence. With a holistic approach, we help individuals transition from crisis to safety, self-sufficiency, and stability, empowering them to rebuild their lives.

We Care for Survivors of Violence

The Family Violence Program, located in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, and Howard County, is a comprehensive, regional array of services designed to move individuals impacted by trauma from crisis and vulnerability to safety, self-sufficiency, and stability. Our team of case managers works with individuals who have been affected by family violence, child abuse, elder abuse, gang violence, hate/bias crimes, sexual assault, military trauma, human trafficking, and gun violence. Services can include crisis intervention, case management, court accompaniment, legal advocacy, emergency and temporary shelter, referrals for counseling, and specialized services for children.

Our approach is rooted in supporting families as a whole. We at Springboard believe the primary experiencer of trauma is not the only victim. Feelings of pain, fear, and isolation ripple through an individual’s family and support system. It is only through a holistic approach with customized service options that the victim and their family, loved ones, and/or caregivers can profoundly heal.

We support members of our community and their loved ones who are victims of:

  • Domestic violence
  • Child abuse
  • Elder abuse
  • Gang violence
  • Hate/bias crimes
  • Sexual assault
  • Military trauma
  • Sex trafficking
  • Gun violence
