Zhamara Walker, LMSW, creates a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as their authentic selves and feel genuinely heard and supported. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and that it should look different for everyone, which is why she takes a client-centered and strengths-based approach. Zhamara takes the time to understand each client’s story, experiences, and goals, then works with them to find an approach that feels meaningful and manageable. She has extensive experience supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other complex life stressors. She works with children, adolescents, and adults and brings curiosity, compassion, and understanding to each client’s unique experience. Zhamara is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves and their experiences, recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop tools they can carry with them beyond the therapy room. Zhamara sees clients virtually and in person at our Carroll County location.
